6 kids forced to live with a dog

Six siblings were locked with a dog in the cage because they shouted at their father.


The children, the oldest a teenager and the youngest about two-years-old, were seen with their parents on the streets of Beijing, China recently.
A woman spotted the wooden cart carrying a big cage near her home.
Three children were leaning on the door of the cage and a big black dog was next to them.
The youngest child cried when the dog barked, leading the woman to believe that it was hurting him.
Without a second thought, she went up to check on the kid and as she get nearer, she saw another three children in the cage.
The children were wearing torn and dirty clothes and the youngest one was left without a shorts.
Their dirty-looking parents were sitting on the street not far from the cart.
When she asked, the mother of the children said they were being punished for shouting at their father.
Her husband then shouted at her and chased her away.
The woman reported the matter to the media.
A Jinghua Times reporter who saw the family on Saturday evening said he only saw two children and the dog in the cage.
When the father saw the reporter taking photographs, he grabbed a stick and tried to attack him.
The couple told police that they were from Hebei province. They have no home and had been wandering on the streets for some time.
